H.J. Cave & Sons

Makers of fine leather goods for nearly two centuries. One of the earliest creators of the modern handbag.

Since 1839

An Uncommon Conviction

In 1839, Harriet Jane Cave founded a leather goods workshop at 1 Edwards Street, Portman Square. She built a Royal Warrant–holding, Gold Medal–winning luxury house that would outlive her by nearly two centuries. That founding principle has never changed.
